I began Snow Legal to create a team of A Grade specialist lawyers to do the work we love for excellent clients.
I’m a lawyer who advises on when things go wrong at work. The topics could be termination of employment, investigations and handling allegations of misconduct, employee and union disputes, safety incidents or monetary claims. If there is a tricky HR issue that you’re grappling with, I know how to manage it with the depth of a great team.
Most of our work relates to business and Government in SA and the NT, but we advise clients from across Australia and those coming to do business in Australia.
I usually act for employers and organisations, but I do act for individuals also, with a reputation in giving practical advice to executives and managers to negotiate their exits from deteriorating work situations.
“I give most of my advice at the earliest stage of these problems – before things go to court.”
I have particular expertise in responding rapidly to uncertain risk situations, including safety incidents and fatalities, unprotected industrial action and instances of serious misconduct, bullying and workplace fraud.
I also assist clients to manage broader risks with respect to corporate and social responsibility obligations and upstream customer expectations.
I love working with my team for our clients. Get in touch!

As a Senior Associate specialising in employment and industrial relations law, I am passionate about workplace law and providing clear, practical, and up to date advice and assistance, underpinned by technical legal expertise and the differing needs of our clients.
Working at Snow Legal with great clients further enhances my passion for employment law. In our small, close-knit team, I really value the open, collaborative discussions we have during the work day and discussing evolving employment law issues which enables us to give up-to-date advice. Our workplace culture is another highlight for me, with our “dress for your day” approach, the ability to bring dogs into the office (Penny, my labradoodle comes in regularly), and the little joys of being able to control the air-conditioning temperature!
I particularly enjoy the diverse and broad range of matters we assist our clients with including unfair dismissals & general protections claims, discrimination claims, modern award and enterprise agreement interpretation, enterprise bargaining, underpayment claims & payroll advice, workplace bullying and harassment (including investigations), workers compensation, breach of contract claims, exit strategy advice and work health and safety issues.
When representing clients in stressful court disputes, my litigation experience across various State and Federal courts and tribunals (including the Fair Work Commission, South Australian Employment Tribunal and South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal) allows me to adopt a calm approach to resolving matters. I provide clear and practical advice throughout, breaking down complex legal principles and processes to ensure that the legal process is more manageable and less stressful for our clients, which helps to achieve the best possible outcomes.
I especially appreciate the friendliness and diversity of our clients as working across various industries provides me with a comprehensive understanding of different workplaces and businesses. This broad exposure is incredibly rewarding, as it allows me to tailor my assistance and advice to suit the unique requirements of each client and their work environment.
Experience
- Instructing solicitor to defend high profile claim in the Federal Court brought against a national company in relation to the application of workplace policies and termination of contract;
- Instructing solicitor to defend appeal in the Full Court of the Federal Court brought by company against worker arising from a jurisdictional objection as to whether worker was an employee or contractor;
- Representing clients in the FWC and SAET conciliation conferences to resolve claims early;
- Assisting clients with sensitive and urgent workplace investigations;
- Instructing solicitor (representing both employees and employers) in relation to underpayment claims brought in the SAET;

I developed a keen interest in workplace relations while completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management), combining legal expertise with a practical understanding of human resources and business operations. That dual perspective continues to inform the way I approach every matter; with both legal precision and commercial awareness.
Growing up in a family farming business on the Eyre Peninsula, and later gaining commercial experience with a non-destructive testing company, instilled in me a strong appreciation for the realities faced by employers. I understand that workplace decisions are rarely made in isolation. They impact people, culture and the long-term success of a business. This insight drives my commitment to delivering advice that is clear, practical and commercially sound, including developing robust workplace policies and procedures.
Before joining Snow Legal, I worked for two years as an Associate to a Deputy President of the Fair Work Commission. During that time, I was exposed to a wide range of matters, including enterprise bargaining, unfair dismissal and general protections claims. This experience provided me with invaluable insight into the Commission’s processes and decision-making, as well as the complex and often competing interests that arise in workplace disputes.
I am focused on building strong, trusted relationships with clients and supporting employers across diverse industries to navigate an increasingly complex and evolving workplace relations landscape. I am committed to providing strategic, efficient and forward-thinking advice that empowers clients to make confident decisions.
At Snow Legal I am met by a supportive, collaborative and down-to-earth team. I really value our open discussions, individual strengths and shared problem-solving which makes the work we do more rewarding. I particularly look forward to our morning coffee catch ups and puzzling sessions. The diversity of work and varied client base has reinforced my enthusiasm for this area of practice.
